At Caudwell, we have a passion for creating inspiring living spaces. Further, we believe Parc du Cap redefines the standard of luxury holiday homes in France. Curation is at the heart of this – from book-matched marble tiled bathrooms to beautiful one-of-a-kind art, furniture and accessories. Moreover, our number one priority is making sure our owners have a residence that’s as unique as they are. For instance, this could entail reconfiguring the internal layout to create more space for your family. Or, it could mean our team sourcing specific outdoor furniture and landscaping the garden to your taste, prior to moving in. In short, whatever the request, Parc du Cap is your bespoke Riviera home and Caudwell is here to deliver the very best.

To uncover some examples of new owner requests, we speak to Caudwell International Sales Manager, Megan Copley.

When two-bed becomes three

Parc du Cap offers a variety of residence sizes, from one to three-bedroom apartments as well as four-bedroom penthouses. However, a handful of new owners have made the decision to buy two apartments to convert into one larger dwelling.

The most popular combination is converting one and two-bedroom apartments into an expansive three-bedroom apartment. Most importantly, this dynamic offers versatility. That is to say, elegant open plan living and dining areas that bring the generations together. This time together is precious, but so is your own space; the three luxurious en-suite bedrooms instantly allow everyone their own sanctuary. In addition, the extra bedroom is ideal for visiting friends and family. Likewise, purchasing two apartments means the added benefit of an additional secure car parking space.

Renting out your residence

While your Parc du Cap residence is a treasured holiday home, it can also be an investment. To clarify, the demand for rental properties on the Côte d’Azur is high. What’s more, no other residential development offers the luxury facilities found at Parc du Cap. This includes outdoor and indoor swimming pools, a jacuzzi, a Hammam, an ice room, private treatment rooms, a fully equipped gymnasium and resident’s tennis court.

Renting out your apartment is permitted so long as you’re compliant and use established rental sites. Some owners have even bought two apartments specifically to have one to rent out and one to keep for family members. The second residence also provides the option of additional guests or as a quieter apartment for older generations.

Outdoor entertaining

One of the most popular reasons for purchasing a Parc du Cap apartment is to enjoy the wonderful French climate. As a result, much emphasis is placed on the outdoors – and the comfort and space in this environment. Our team can assist with all manner of requests for outdoor entertaining. For example, complete landscaping or expertise on planting. Additionally, the sourcing and assembling of parasols for sun protection or the creation of exquisite outdoor seating areas. The pergola you see in the image is one of our most sought-after arrangements.

One size needn’t fit all

Caudwell is able to assist with an array of requests upon purchase of a property. Certainly, the team can assist with things like joinery, fitting additional kitchen cupboards and the sourcing of other small furnishings. Further, we can import specific furniture on request. We can even arrange for short-term furniture rental while you await your bespoke furniture.

Above all, we know there isn’t one size that fits all. Firstly, an apartment can be tailored to specific needs, for example to allow for wheelchair access. Secondly, we can replace a bath with an accessible shower and can install handrails and panic buttons. And finally, our doorways, lifts and spa are already wheelchair friendly.
