This year, thousands of spectators from around the world will descend upon the Circuit de Monaco to watch Formula One roar into action on Sunday 27th May. As a Parc du Cap resident, you’re just a scenic drive along the coastal road away.

The speed and passion of Monaco’s Formula 1 Grand Prix is irresistible. It is the race that every driver dreams of winning, and every motoring enthusiast dreams of witnessing. With its tight corners and exceptionally scarce overtaking opportunities, the track is a hair-raising challenge at every level.
Getting to the Monaco Grand Prix
Monaco will be abuzz from 24th May, with the first Formula One practice run of the season. There are many ways to get to the Monaco Grand Prix from Parc du Cap, but perhaps the most glamorous is along the coastal road from Juan les Pins. The 49km drive offers the perfect opportunity to sit back and enjoy breathtaking views across the royal blue Mediterranean to the majestic Alps. From the road, the white yachts that seem so vast up close merely decorate the water.
Perfect pit stops
Although the journey takes less than an hour, you might like to take a pitstop in Nice for a coffee and a crêpe in the sunshine. The race begins at 3.10pm on Sunday, so be sure not to get lost in the old town’s winding alleyways! A little further into your journey, consider stretching your legs in the beautiful medieval village of Èze. Its roots are thought to lie with the Phoenicians, an ancient civilisation who erected a temple there to honour the goddess Isis. Èze’s location, over 1,400ft above sea level, ensures the panorama from its periphery is truly spectacular.
